Our Labor Day Line Up:

Jason Isbell

Jason has been nominated for Best Song, Best Album, and Artist of the year for 2014 from the Americana Music Association. Jason honed his skills in the music studios of Muscle Shoals before hitting the road with the Drive By Truckers in 2002. He began his solo career in 2007 highlighted with the 2013 release of the Southeastern, which has been described as an album “filled with songs of discovery… raw, open and reflective.”

Marc Broussard

Louisiana native Marc Broussard returns to the Island after performing at last year’s Gumbo Festival, bringing his Southern roots, “Bayou Soul”, mix of funk, blues, R&B, rock and pops. Singer/songwriter and violinist, Amanda Shires performance will feature a “sunset serenade” as the sun sinks into the Western sky behind her during her set. She is also expected to join her husband, Jason, for a few tunes as well. Rounding out the schedule are local favorites Ryan Balthrop and Lisa Mills (who returns from her annual summer tour in Europe just in time for SeaGrass).
